[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]In times like this, I wonder what can I do. I do not understand the struggles that Black America faces. I am white, so I will never fully understand.
Once when I was touring Washington DC. many monuments. I heard a talk by a park ranger. He gave a passionate speech. What stuck with me was the following:
“There is no such thing as Asian American,
There is no such thing as African American,
There is no such thing as Mexican American,
There is just Americans! “
But the system has failed Americans. It provided inequality for all Americans because when one American hurts all Americans hurt.
I have witnessed Systematic Racism in my own Area where I live. Where everyone swears up and down they are not racist. These are the examples I have seen in my adult life. They are not many but they have stuck with me and as I thought about what I can do the memories returned.
When I worked for someone else. My boss brought in a new Member of the team I was on. He was a black man. The team members didn’t jive with him. Nothing other than the fact that the team members didn’t know how to work with him he was let go. Not talent but who he was, he was let go!
A friend I met through church was a great cook. American Express has a large call center here in Utah and he was a Cook in their kitchen! He was let go for no other reason than his white boss didnt get along with him. He left the state for Hawaii.
Having tried to get a project off the ground with a black partner and having her call vendors for more info and seeing the systematic racism kick in until I got on the phone was very frustrating and we would not work with those vendors. Seeing the same partner get let go from a job after a job here in Utah for no other reason than not being a good fit.
So she always comes back and sees how can we make money together. How can she and other black people become independent of the system?
So as I thought about what I can do![/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=”I looked at what I do and what I could offer.” font_container=”tag:h2|text_align:left|color:%23141414″ use_theme_fonts=”yes”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]I own a company called WPConcierges that specialized in WordPress Ecommerce sites using Woocommerce.
I help people setup and grow their online stores, and I am willing to offer my services and expertise to those who, in many cases, have been marginalized in through the system that we all the United States of America. I cannot eradicate the system, but I am willing to do what I can.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”Heres what I can do” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]I would like to offer the following:
I am willing to offer my services to 5 Black Male entrepreneurs to establish, setup, and operate their online stores absolutely free.
1. I will cover any monthly and backend fees for 1 year.
2. I will train the new store owner on how to grow their online store ($5,000 Value)
Simply fill out the form and we will reach back out and see if you would be a good fit for what we are offering.
It will not eliminate the horrible injustice that this system of hatred has caused, but I feel that if I can do this, It will be much like the experience I had with a Black store owner I had with my online ecommerce Veracart who, when I visited him at his house in Arizona, he was so free, and the captain of his own destiny!
Again, I know this doesn’t solve racism, but if I can empower those that are hungry to improve their station and make the world a better place, I am happy to be part of step in the right direction towards equity and equality.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”Fill out the following form and I will get back to you.” use_theme_fonts=”yes”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column css=”.vc_custom_1600965135482{background-color: #8224e3 !important;}”]
